Promotional flyer for a palliative care workshop by Nurses Australia, featuring headshots of Fred Miegel and Holly Pitt, with the event date, time, and theme.

In this interactive workshop, we explored the realities of palliative care when complexity, ethics, and compassion intersect. “Navigating When Palliative Care Doesn’t Follow a Rule Book”.

Through two real-world case studies, this session unpacked the challenges clinicians face when there’s no clear pathway forward.

There were two sessions within this workshop. For each session, the program featured a case study delivered through a series of short presentations, interspersed with interactive breakout sessions and facilitator-led discussions.

It’s a fast-paced and highly engaging format designed to encourage participation and reflection.

Viewer discretion advised: this session includes real case studies that contain graphic descriptions of actual events.
