Depression is common in people with advanced life-limiting illnesses and can be difficult to address when time is short. In this one-hour webinar, Dr Wei Lee, Director of Palliative Care at Sydney’s Mater Hospital will share practical, evidence-based guidance to help nurses support patients and families when prognosis is days to weeks.
Sarah Begley, Clinical Nurse Consultant and PCNA Vice President, will be moderating this session, where our participants will gain:
Current evidence on depression in advanced illness.
Practical approaches to screening, assessment, and care.
Strategies for managing barriers in clinical settings.
Dedicated time for audience Q&A.
This FREE session is a must for nurses in palliative care, aged care, and related fields. Other clinicians involved in end-of-life care are also welcome.
